Medicrest's SMS and Texting Terms of Service
Program Description
Medicrest’s text messaging program is a communication process designed to facilitate communication between the administrative components of the Company and its associates. Medicrest’s associates are field-based and do not report to centralized locations, so an effective communication platform is beneficial to ensure all team members have relevant job-related information. The texts will include information regarding training sessions, scheduling, time off notifications, updates on Company policies and human resource bulletins. Polling has shown an overwhelming preference among the Company’s associates to receive text communications for these types of updates, which is a primary reason for the institution of this program.
Opting Out
Medicrest Home Care associates may opt out of the Company’s SMS service at any time by replying “Stop” to any of the Company’s messages. Associates may also opt out when onboarded by notifying a Company representative when first hired, or by calling the Company any time at (404) 946-3313. If an associate wishes to receive text messages from the Company after they have opted out, they may do so by signing up through the phone number Company texts originate from or by letting a Company representative know to opt back in to the text message program. If an associate opts out there will be additional non-text based communication requirements for that associate because the information contained in the texts are necessary to the performance of an associate’s job. Those requirements may include using a phone-based app, email or phone calls. Any associate who opts out of the text program will be instructed on the alternatives available.
Program Content and Frequency
Medicrest’s texting program will focus on associates’ job-related information. This includes information on training sessions, scheduling, time off notifications, updates on Company policies, and human resource bulletins. The program will not contain marketing campaigns, solicitations, or advertisements. The frequency of text communications will vary, but the Company anticipates an average of approximately 3 to 5 text messages per week. The information used to facilitate text communications, such as names and phone numbers, will be kept private. The Company will not sell any associate information or share it with other entities or individuals.

Additional Information
The Company’s partner vendors or carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. The program recognizes text messaging is not perfect, and missed or undelivered messages may occur. Further, no associate will be held responsible for missing messages. The Company will work with its vendors, carriers and associates to provide the most reliable platform possible while recognizing transmission delays and interruptions may occur.
Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to associates from the Company and from an associate to the Company, depending on the associate’s individual phone plan. For information on text-related charges it is best for the associate to contact their carrier directly. If charges are a concern, an associate should contact a Company representative to discuss options. An associate can opt out of the program for any reason including costs that might be incurred from participating.
